Nigerian Actress Mercy Kenneth marked her 14th birthday Today, and it was an emotional one for her as it came with a surprise celebration.

The Nollywood star took to her Instagram page to share a lovely video showing the beautiful gifts she received.

In the video, Mercy, who was at a movie location, was overwhelmed after two ladies arrived with a cake, and other gifts while a saxophonist performed in the background.





A lady brought a bundle of money from her pocket and sprayed her.


The Teen Actress burst into tears almost immediately as crew members joined in the celebration.

    A 54-year old woman, Funmi Ajagbe, has given birth to a set of triplets with her first pregnancy, a thing that does not usually happen. The new mother’s friend, Odunayo Olupona, took to Facebook to disclose that Funmi welcomed her babies despite the long wait.  In her post on Tuesday, she posed a rhetorical question, asking: "Is there anything too hard for God to do?" as she emphasised with Yoruba praise words how great He is. She said that the newborns are all same gender, boys. . Odunayo said her case is a perfect example that no matter how rough the road is, joy always comes at last. Heartbreaking: Three schoolboys drowned while swimming with friends in Enugu (photos)."

   A 12-year-old boy, identified as Lekan Benjamin drowned at the Asa River in Ilorin, Kwara state while swimming with his friends.  It was gathered that Lekan a Junior Secondary School student went swimming with some of his classmates while returning from school, when he drowned. The Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Falade Olumuyiwa who confirmed the incident in a statement described the incident as unfortunate. He noted that at about 13:21hrs on Tuesday,, the State Fire Service attended to the scene, at Ejiba Road, off Stadium road, Ilorin. The victim was however recovered dead from the river by the firemen and handed over to his biological father, Mr Monday Benjamin. Olumuyiwa (CFO) consoled the family of the victim and advised parents to watch over their children’s movement in order to prevent future similar occurrences
